belle qualité, et belle histoire

Although French is my second language, I am a French as a Foreign Language teacher and I hold a Masters degree in French.The English text is lazy and uninteresting, even for my very young daughter. The artwork is clearly copy-pasted clipart.By far the worst, though, is the French translation. The errors are numerous, repetitive and significant. When I first heard my wife reading this book, I was struck by several odd vocabulary choices that made me suspect that it might be a machine translation. When I sat down to read the text and the translation, I realised that there were many, many mistakes in the text that even an automated translator wouldn't make. This is not a machine translation; it's just a particularly bad translation. Save your money for books that have been translated by professionals and adequately proofread and edited.

The last page asks for a review and the book in general is a bit odd with no story line. I was excited for a French and English book, but was a little disappointed with the professionalism.

This book is very basic and not entertaining at all
